Tor and I had intended that this winter would be one of ice climbing, but an unusually warm winter and difficulty getting up north means that the first outdoor event of the winter season was rock climbing at Blackford Quarry, in february! (Still warmer than Ratho untill the sun went down!) The cracks on Pinnacle Rock were probably better suited to cowbells than cams, but the flake imaginativly named "Route 3" was the other way round.
